Biomass to Biofuel Technology
A Chemical Process by which Crude Oil gets converts to a Chemical compound having the same properties as conventional diesel. It uses NaOH or KOH as a catalyst and produces Glycerol as a Byproduct.
It’s usage as petroleum diesel fuel for vehicles and as a heating oil for industries. Unlike petroleum diesel, biofuel is a renewable resource, and it creates less pollution than Petroleum Diesel. It avoids engine modifications.
This makes it easier to integrate biofuel into current systems.

Biofuel Technology Advantages
Biomass Biofuel is a renewable energy source, derived from TBO’s (i.e. Tree Born Oil Seeds) or from cooking oils recycled from restaurants. This means it is a renewable resource, unlike petroleum-based diesel.
Biomass to Biofuel is less polluting than petroleum diesel. Compared to petroleum diesel, biodiesel produces less soot (particulate matter), carbon monoxide, unburned hydrocarbons, and sulfur dioxide.
The absence of Sulfur in 100% biofuel should extend the life of catalytic converters.
For industrial application, biofuel is mixed with heating oil. It reduces dependence on non-renewable and increasingly expensive heating oil.
Biofuel, is typically used without modification in current oil heating systems and diesel engines. It may delivered through existing diesel fuel pumps. It has an advantage over other alternative fuels, which can be expensive to use initially due to the high cost of equipment modifications or new purchases. Biofuel provides almost the same energy per gallon as petroleum diesel. The lubricating effects of biofuel will extend the life of engines.
